No.  The TRPA Governing Board has never voted on the current Sierra Colina Village project as proposed by the current owners.  TRPA Governing Board hearings on this property before 2005 pertained to a different owner and a different project proposal.

When Sierra Colina, LLC acquired the property in 2005, it began an entirely new analysis of the residential possibilities and associated potential environmental and community benefits for this property.  The Sierra Colina analysis resulted in a project application to the TRPA in April 2006 proposing to create Sierra Colina Village.

When it submitted its 2006 application to TRPA, Sierra Colina, LLC requested that TRPA retain an independent environmental consultant to conduct a full environmental impact statement (EIS) on the proposed Sierra Colina Village project.  The Sierra Colina Village EIS process began in August 2006, with public scoping comments for the Sierra Colina Village EIS being received during autumn 2006.  After publication of the Sierra Colina Village DEIS in August 2008, public comments to the Sierra Colina Village DEIS concluded on October 13, 2008.  The TRPA Governing Board will be considering for the first time in 2009 a Final EIS on this parcel in connection with the proposed Sierra Colina Village project.
